SANITARY CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE AREA WATER - Two samples taken from the supplies of the Rickmansworth and Uxbridge Valley Water Co., were examined by the Clinical Research Association Ltd., and found to be fit for drinking, together with twenty-five samples of the South West Suburban Water Co's supply taken by this authority and five neighbouring authorities. Upon a further sample being taken the water showed an improvement, and was regarded as being safe for drinking purposes. The remaining four samples proved to be satisfactory. No action has been taken under the Public Health (Prevention of tuberculosis) Regulations, 1925, relating to tuberculous employees in the milk trade, nor under the Public Health Act, 1936p Section 172, for the compulsory removal to hospital of persons suffering from tuberculosis.
